Shooters Restaurant in Rifle, Colorado offers weapons training in addition to dinners, and all of the waitresses are packing pistols. Open-carry is legal in the state, so customers can carry as well.
It’s probably one of the most polite dining venues around.
For Colorado as a whole, there have been 117 gun-related murders since 2010. California, on the other hand, has had the most gun-related murders since 2010 with a startling 1,811 lives taken.
Why that’s considered “startling” is something of a mystery, as California – home to DiFi and Babs Boxer – has strict gun-control laws that effectively turn the place into a free-fire zone. Meanwhile, back at Shooters, a little decorum goes a long way. A sign on the door advises:
“Please keep all weapons holstered unless need arises. In such case, judicious marksmanship is appreciated.”
No word on whether the place has ever been robbed.
