MRSA Treatment

FDA has fast-tracked a new drug, Dalvance, and it’s now approved for IV treatment of MRSA and similar antibiotic-resistant strains. Presumably, this is good news – especially as it’s an IV drug, so it’s less likely to be misused by patients who like to “save half for later”, and the agricompanies won’t be feeding it to cows and poultry.
