What’s That Smell?

Oregon’s Retread governor has said that he has no problem with being “held accountable” for the failure of the state health insurance exchange and that he “welcomes a thorough review” of the Cover Oregon debacle. He’s getting more than a “thorough review”, however, as the FBI has launched a criminal investigation and subpoenaed the records, emails, and other communications of ten people thus far – and the latest among them is Retread’s own chief of staff, which for the first time places the investigation directly into the Executive branch of state government.

That smell he’s pondering is coming from the turd which has now landed squarely in the pocket of his trademark blue jeans. Rumor has it that he’s intently studying bus schedules and working on his throwing arm.

That is good to know that someone else is looking at holding him accountable, and not just the voters, most of whom are Dems.

This is the first time that it’s come home to roost at Retread’s door. A little more than he wanted, I suspect.
